
eL Seed is a French-Tunisian artist who pioneered "calligraffiti," a practice that transforms Arabic calligraphy into monumental murals and public installations. His most acclaimed work, "Perception" in Cairo, is an anamorphic mural spanning nearly 50 buildings, visible only from a single vantage point on Muqattam Mountain. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and received the UNESCO Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture.
