During this time during the pandemic, I thought a lot about the lack of Asian representation so I sought out to create some representation I didnt see growing up. This mural features people across the Asian Diaspora from Filipino to Chinese. Each person is holding flowers to represent holding space for yourself. To me, creating murals is about taking up space, and owning space.
