As part of an initiative to make Lübeckplein more pleasant, the municipality of Zwolle launched a project in 2020 with the aim of greening and revitalising the square. The square needed some softening. Residents of Zwolle were given the opportunity to contribute ideas on how to spend the budget to make the square more pleasant. This collaboration resulted in various projects, including more greenery and entertainment on the square, and the creation of a giant mural on the tile wall.
